Summer Salsa Cruda Salad

This idea comes from Marisa McClellan via Slashfood. A combination of summer salad ingredients that can be chopped in large chunks (to eat salad-style) or chopped fine (to eat salsa-style).
I would start by marinated minced onion and jalepenos in lime juice, and use that as the dressing. Black beans or black eyed peas would make an excellent addition to this.
